About The Medical Cannabis Clinicians Society
The Medical Cannabis Clinicians Society gives clinicians the opportunity to share practical knowledge, develop transparent and independent guidance and lead the conversation as doctors in the sector.
As more and more doctors begin to prescribe medical cannabis for their patients, the Society provides a confidential, independent network for clinicians to share experiences in patient consultation, prescribing, accessing products and treatments, research and evidence.
Members of the Society have access to further information including prescribing guidelines, a secure online support network and discounts to training and events.
The Medical Cannabis Clinicians Society is a community interest company: Medcan Clinicians Society CIC (company #12000732).
Vision & Mission
We see a future where every health care provider and clinician in the UK understands and appreciates the therapeutic value of medical cannabis and it’s growing role within the future of personalised medicine.
We believe that everyone who could benefit from medical cannabis should have access to it through the NHS.
Our mission is to broaden the knowledge and understanding of clinicians and health care providers on the therapeutic benefits and safe prescription of cannabis based medicines.
A media friendly Society
We are committed to raising awareness and promoting understanding of medical cannabis with a range of audiences. The Society welcomes the opportunity to provide expert commentary and opinion on all aspects of medical cannabis.
