Introducing The Academy of Medical Cannabis

In the last several years, numerous countries across the globe have started to trend towards the decriminalisation or legalisation of cannabis-based medicinal products.

A lack of research over the years has resulted in minimal understanding of medical cannabis and created many misconceptions due to the recreational usage of non-medicinal black market products. There is a gap to bridge in order to enable the understanding and prescribing of these medicines by clinicians. This is what the Academy of Medical Cannabis is for. Providing a comprehensive series of modular courses that will train the clinician from foundations through to advanced and specialised areas of medicine.

By working through its series of modules, you will be preparing yourself to actively consult with patients around these medicines, and where appropriate write prescriptions with the necessary grounding of knowledge and understanding.

The Academy has a free course – The Foundations of Medical Cannabis – plus certification in a range of specialisms.
