As medical cannabis laws change internationally, clinicians need clear, practical and evidence-informed education they can trust. The Society supports doctors, pharmacists, nurses, healthcare educators, policymakers and clinical teams to build knowledge, confidence and safe practice in cannabinoid medicine.
Our international training is led by experienced UK medical cannabis clinicians, including Professor Mike Barnes, and is designed to support countries at different stages of medical cannabis access, regulation and clinical development.
Supporting clinicians around the world
The Society has already delivered medical cannabis education for clinicians in Greece, Malaysia, Panama, Malta and Romania.
Our training is tailored to the needs of each country, organisation or clinical group. We recognise that legal frameworks, prescribing pathways, product availability and patient access vary widely between countries. For this reason, our international education is designed to combine core clinical teaching with local context.
